Breiffne joined the clinic in June 2008 after completing over 1000 hours of hospital-based work in departments such as Orthopaedics, Respiratory and Outpatients. A native of Kildare, Breiffne went to the University of Limerick where he graduated with BSc Honours in Sports and Exercise Science. He then went on to graduate with a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin. He also furthered his experience by working with Belvedere College Senior Rugby Panel in 2006.
Breiffne is a keen rugby player and has represented Ireland at u18, u19 and u21 level which culminated in a runners-up medal at the 2004 u21 rugby World Cup. He currently plays for Clontarf Rugby Club in Division One of the All-Ireland League. |
